Amy is also the owner and award winning winemaker for Thorn Hill vineyards, specializing in hand-crafted artisan wines of exceptional quality. At Thorn Hill Vineyards the focus in on small production, single vineyard wines. Thorn Hill grapes come from vineyards in Napa Valley, Sonoma, and Lake County, California. As a winemaker, Amy creates full bodied, intensely flavored, richly textured wines of structure, depth, and balance that reflect the specific qualities of each vineyard site.
As a motivational speaker, Amy shares her personal story of winemaking and dreammaking with Big Magic, Turning Passion in to Purpose. Small, exclusive Big Magic workshops are also offered at the Thorn Hill Ranch in Lake County, CA a few times a year where Amy gives undivided attention to attendees’ dreammaking aspirations.
Amy is a graduate of Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA, and a recipient of the college’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
