The 2010 Danais Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is composed mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, both of which lend complexity and structure. The wine was fermented in small batches in stainless steel tanks and aged for 22 months in small oak barrels, 25% of which were new French or American oak.

Tasting Notes:

The wine has a deep ruby red color. The nose is a mix of chocolate, light tobacco, plum and berries. The wine fills the palate with bright red fruit flavors of cherries and plums along with toasted oak. The finish is very pleasant and satisfying.
