The Silenus 2010 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is blend of wine from two exclusive Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards as well as some Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc from our own estate vineyard. The wine was fermented in small batches in stainless steel tanks and aged for 22 months in small oak barrels, 25% of which were new French or American oak.
The wine has a deep ruby red color and on the nose are aromas of ripe plum and blackberry, which mingle with cedar, anise and tobacco. The wine fills the palate with bright red fruit flavors of cherries and plums along with toasted oak. The finish is pleasant and satisfying.
