The Silenus 2010 Select Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of our estate grown fruit and some other exclusive Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards. Aged in 40% new French oak, 10% new American oak, and 50% neutral oak barrels.
The wine has a beautiful deep ruby red color with a complex array of aromas including cedar, raspberry, baked fruit and oak. On the palate the wine has deep, rich red fruit flavors of raspberry and cherry cordial with a background of cocoa and roasted nuts. It has a lingering finish of dark chocolate and vanilla favors. The wine has plenty of structure and is built to age.
