Vineyard/Vintage Notes:  100% Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. 71% from the Jewell Vineyard, 23% from the Humphrey and 6% from the Sarita Vineyard. All in eastern Napa Valley off the Silverado Trail in the Oakville district.

Winemaker’s Notes:  Produced in the Old World style to create a wine place.  Where the wine tells you its story of place, variety and vintage.  The way Napa Cabernet was made back in the 50’s and 60’s.

Vintage Notes:   Normal rain, later bud break. No frost. Hot summer, but no real heat spikes during ripening.  Harvested 10 days later than 2017 with larger than average crop size.
