The 2018 Dayna Estate Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the western bench of the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley at the foot of the Mayacamas Mountains. The good drainage and alluvial soils provide the ideal conditions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon.
Intense ruby red in color with aromas of cassis, plum, black cherry, and cocoa powder. The wine dances on the palate with rich fruit flavors of black cherry, ripe pomegranate, and black violets enhanced with black pepper notes. The rich fruit flavors evolve into a graceful finish loaded with red fruit and smooth tannins. The wine is lush while maintaining a bright freshness.
