Lincoln Creek Vineyards is known for its Zinfandel, the 80-acre vineyard is located between Highway 29 on the west and the Napa River on the east in the Oakville appellation. It is named for a small creek that cuts through the middle of the vineyard. The vineyard is the perfect climatic spot for growing elegant Zinfandel with its afternoon sun and heat followed by cooling San Pablo Bay breezes. The grapes ripen with full classic Zinfandel flavors which contribute to a wine that is layered and complex while not being overripe.
Our 2019 Silenus Zinfandel is a bright ruby red color. The youthful nose of this wine has flavors of fruit punch and spiced cranberries with subtle hints of ground white pepper. The palate of this wine is nicely balanced between flavors of dark red fruit and spice, with slight floral undertones and a hint of passion fruit lingering throughout the finish. This is a fresh and fun wine that drinks beautifully on its own or paired alongside spice rubbed salmon or teriyaki chicken donburi.

6.19% Cabernet Sauvignon: Estate Vineyards, Oak Knoll
All of the wine was aged in 40% new French oak, 10% new American oak (both medium plus and heavy toast), and 50% neutral barrels for 22 months.
