From two of the best Barbera vineyards, we work with. Both bud out earlier and ripen later than Zinfandel producing grapes at lower pH with full bright varietal fruit.  Amador County is rapidly becoming known as the best wine-growing region in the world for Barbera. Both the Manby and Linsteadt vineyards produce small bunches of high extraction, perfect pH and flavors to produce world-class Barbera.

Tasting Notes:

Fruit forward and floral with light French oak in a wine that expresses both the varietal and the Amador Terroir.  This extractive wine has notes of dark currents with a rich full center.
