This is an extremely small production wine made from mostly estate grown fruit from a vineyard that is located between Dry Creek and our Barrel Room. The vineyard is warm during the day but cools down significantly at night, perfect for this varietal.

This vineyard’s location in both the Oak Knoll District and next to Dry Creek imparts classic Cabernet Franc aromas of violet and perfume along with underlying peppery and herbal flavors. These are complimented by the ripe red fruit flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wine was aged in 50% new French oak barrels for 22 months.
